Hair trials are a must! It’s the best way for you to be confident that you’re working with the right person. Bring pictures of your dress, your theme and different hair styles you like. Together, you and your stylist can determine what works best for you. It’s also important to bring any veil or headpiece you might want to use. Your stylist can help you determine the best look to go with your accessories.
Before the trial – and on the day of your wedding – make sure your hair is completely dry. Your hair needs to be clean, but dry. It will hold the curl or wave better, and it's easier to work with. Trust your stylist to know which products to use to give that extra bit of grip.
One of our favorite looks for the elegant bride, pictured above on one of our brides, is a low chignon. A low chignon is simple, elegant and classy. To get this beautiful updo, tell your stylist you want a low bun chignon that is not too tight to the head and has a little texture.

When it comes to makeup, it’s all about what you want to look like and how you want to feel. For spring and summer, you want to keep it bright and clean. A beautiful pink or soft magenta lipstick and lip gloss will look bright without being too flashy. And false eyelashes are a must. They make your eyes look larger and give them depth. Once you have those on, you'll feel like your face is ready. A little shadow and liner, and you’re good to go!
